SEMINAR-CONFERENCE-WORKSHOP
The rapid progress of science and technology very often makes the syllabus out-of-date before appropriate actions could be taken to update the curriculum. One way of bridging this gap is to organize Conferences, Seminars, Webinars and Workshops on topics of contemporary importance. Conferences and Seminars/ Webinars provide the latest information about technologies that are being used in different sectors, whereas Workshops can offer a plethora of hands-on experiences to update skills of the students and the faculty.
Dr. B. C. Roy College of Pharmacy and AHS organizes conferences, seminars/ webinars, and workshops on regular intervals. Conferences, seminars/webinars and workshops on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Research Methodology are also organized to enhance research knowledge, make students aware of the importance of research quality and professional ethics. Entrepreneurship is another sector of skillset which the college really wants to build amongst its students. The institute invites eminent speakers from various academic institutions and industries to share their valuable knowledge which updates the students’ as well as the faculty’s knowledge and skills.
