Dr. B. C. Roy College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences (BCRCP) fraternity congratulates Ms. Mahima Chowdhury, Ms. Shreya Maji, Ms. Sucheta Karmakar and Mr. Aniket Ojha, our B. Pharma students participated in “12th Inter University Engineering, Science & Technology Academic Meet 2022 and Innovative Model Competition for a Sustainable Society”, held on 12th September ’22 at GNIT, Kolkata and won the 1st prize in innovative model competition. The competition was organized by Forum of Scientists, Engineers & Technologists (FOSET) in association with MAKAUT, West Bengal and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), West Bengal Section and The Association of Engineers India.
After a preliminary screening process the organizer selected 16 innovative ideas in final round and our students snatched the 1st Prize with their model titled ‘Detecting Brain Tumor using Artificial Intelligence’ which is a collaborative work with The Mission Hospital, Durgapur. The students have made us proud. Mr. Tunir Sahoo, an Alumnus of BCRCP ideated and hand-holded our students in materializing the concept behind this innovative project work.
