Dr. Yadu Nandan Dey

Dr. Yadu Nandan Dey, is currently working as Associate Professor in Dr. B.C. Roy College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences. He completed his B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. (Pharmacology) from West Bengal University of Technology. He worked as a Senior Research Fellow at CCRAS-RARIDD (Under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India), Gwalior where he completed many extramural and intramural research projects along with his Ph.D. studies. He has acquired more than 10 years of research and 3.5 years of teaching experience. In January, 2022 he received a research Grant from SERB, DST for his research project under Startup Research Grant scheme. Previously he was awarded with ICMR Centenary Post-Doctoral Fellowship in 2017 and carried out his Post-Doctoral research work at ICMR-National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Belagavi. He was also awarded with “Young Scientist” Award by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal in 2016, “Best Research Paper Award” in Drug Research at AYUSH Award of CCRAS in 2018 and “Best Researcher Award” from International Research Awards, Sciencefather, Scifax in 2020 for his research works. He has undergone various training programs and workshops in reputed organizations and presented many research papers in various national and international conferences. He authored 3 book chapters and more than 50 research papers in various national and international journals which got about 1300 citations (h index-20). His area of research is the safety and efficacy of herbal drugs in various animal models of inflammatory and metabolic diseases. He also serves as a member of Editorial and Reviewer Board for many Journals.
