Dr. Ujjwal Sahoo

Associate Professor

Dr. Ujjwal Sahoo, is currently working as Associate Professor in Dr. B.C. Roy College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences, India. He has pursued his Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dr. M. G. R Medical University, India at 2007 and obtained his Ph.D from Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Univerity, Gujarat, India in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Although from his Masters and PhD, he has got expertise in Natural Products, Dr. Ujjwal has been engaged in various research activities such as Molecular Modeling drug discovery, formulation and development of herbal insecticides, Bio-similar Product Development etc. He has published more than 42 research publications in various journals and proceedings of international repute. He has published five books chapters in Lambert. He is the editor of Egyptian Journal of Chemistry. He is the reviewer of various national and international journals. Amongst his current research Interest, he is engaged in medicinal chemistry research program involves the design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of molecules that could potentially hindrance, slow down, or come to an end carcinogenesis. He is particularly interested in two different types of chemopreventive/chemotherapeutic compounds.

I am particularly interested in two different types of chemopreventive/chemotherapeutic compounds. • Stereochemical aspects of drug action and disposition, basic and pharmacology evaluation of analgesic, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and cardiovascular drugs
