Rideb Chakraborty

Assistant Professor

As an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pharmaceutics, Rideb Chakraborty contributes to the academic growth of students while engaging in innovative research. He qualified GPAT and NIPER JEE in the year 2021 and completed his M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, with First-Class Distinction. Currently, he is pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics at SRMIST, Chennai. His core research expertise lies in advanced drug delivery, nanomedicine, and targeted therapeutic strategies. His research work encompasses the fabrication, optimization, and characterization of novel nanocarrier systems, including niosomes, liposomes, nanoemulsions, and smart hydrogel matrix platforms. His research emphasizes targeted ocular delivery, transdermal microneedle systems, stimuli-responsive polymersomes, and Quality by Design (QbD)-driven drug delivery optimization. With over 3 years of academic and 5 years of research experience, he has actively mentored UG and PG students across multiple research projects.
