Dr. Sudip Kumar Mandal

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sudip Kumar Mandal has received his PhD in Pharmacy in 2015 from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. Currently he is working as a faculty at Dr. B. C. Roy College of Pharmacy and AHS, Durgapur. He has more than 19 years of research and teaching experience in the field of pharmaceutical science. He is a member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India. His research interests focus on discovery and development of bioactive organic compounds and related derivatives from synthetic routes and natural sources against inflammation, cancer and microorganisms. He is supervising four PhD scholars at several renowned Indian universities (Jadavpur University, GLA University, MAKAUT and ADTU). He has authored more than 55 peer-reviewed papers (Highest Impact Factor - 9.3, Cumulative Impact Factor - 77, h-index -14, i10-index -22) and 6 book chapters. He has two Indian patents. He has presented his research work in many National and International conferences and was invited as the Keynote Speaker at the International Conference organized by Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt in 2019. He has been involved as a reviewer with many high impact and prestigious journals such as Scientific Reports – Nature. He has been honoured as Editorial Board Member of many journals from Bentham Science, Springer and Elsevier. He also has been honoured as Brand Ambassador of Bentham Science Publisher. He has editorial involvement as an Editor in the Egyptian Journal of Chemistry.
